"It always amazed me that when GM would sell one of Toyota cars with a GM nameplate on the front. The GM rebadged model would sell for thousands less then the toyota model even though they were the exact same model!
Ex: Toyota Corolla '92-99 = Chevrolet Prism '92-'99
and the Toyota Matrix 2003-current = Pontiac Vibe 2003-current.
I have another news update. In the parking lot of a Lowes I saw a 2008 Ford F-250 four door for sale for 17k.
I couldn't believe it this truck sold for 50k brand new. 17k will buy you a Honda civic of the same year but this truck is the size of 5 civics put together.
The F-250 was a really popular truck here in AZ cause it was so much bigger than the already enormous F-150. When I would ask people why they bought the F-250 they would always say because it was more comfortable not because they needed the extra capacity.
What could have forced this guy to sell for so low? I think I may have the answer besides the obvious one. You see the newly redesigned F-250 diesel has a turbo that is buried so deep in the engine bay of the truck that mechanics have to take the cab of the truck off to fix it!
The cab! the part of the truck where people sit has to be unbolted from the frame of the truck and hoisted up! Just to fix a turbo!
This might not be a problem if the turbo were really reliable but owners on forums have been saying that the turbo is unreliable! Who knows how much a turbo on this truck would cost to fix. I do know that it takes four guys to take the cab off."

I watched in the 80s and 90s as SUVs took off -- I kept asking sheeple WHY they were buying these useless things... why does everybody want a mini van!!?? Answer? They are afraid and scared neurotic, antisocal subruban white rejects that feel their car makes them tough. They feel that since they are 'bigger' they somehow 'win'... win what? A large car payment....
trucks like ford f250's ect are designed to break and be difficult to maintain - the reason is that it is NOT - repeat NOT a work -truck!! How are you supposed to load a truck when it is jacked up 4 feet off the ground? How are you supposed to haul stuff when half of the bay is used for 'extended cab seating' - this things are simply white-boy batmobiles... 99% of ford truck buyers are NOT using them for work.. they simply drive from their cubicle home each day pretending to be men that can pay their own way, rather than whores who work for someone else - .
There are hardly any american work trucks anymore, the reason being of course is americans dont WORK. The ford ranger is OK. The Toyota tacoma was great UNTIL it got a case of white man disease and turned into a jacked up, tiny bed, insecurity mobile...
People are weak ass bitches, and in america they hide behind sheet metal shaped like lions and tigers, when its just a little pussy inside behind the wheel. The SUV has always been and will always BE, the white mans security blanket - it serves no purpose other than him to masquerade as if he is BIG.
What a nightmare to HAVE to live like this. To wake up and be as scared as a gerbil and have to climb into various protective boxes pained in scary colors just to get through your day....
Those prices you mentioned are absurd by the way. A ford f250 should NOT cost 50k new -- the price of 17K is about what it should be new - so don't think that its at a bargain price. Car prices like house prices have inflated rediculously during the boom. In 2005 a Toyota Tacoma was $9,000 brand new! Now it is something like $15,000.... A sports bike used to be about $5k brand new - now they are like $9-10K.....
Remember, white americans make up the largest majority of slave cattle in this country. As a result they are given pacifiers to make them feel "BIG" again. Big houses, big cars, big trucks, big bikes, big food, big everything to make them feel like 'big boys' rather than the slaves that they are -- the need to 'feel big' is just a manefestation of insecurity. Cell phones are also used by the white masses as a security blanket. I remember when they came out how most people would scoff at them... "what do you need a portable phone for?" -- "are you that important that you need to be reach all the time?" --- that SECOND quote is ironic because that's the type of insecurity/wanting to feel BIG attitude that made them take off. I CLEARLY remember the first wave of 'orniary people' getting cellphones --- now don't get me wrong, when they came out I htought they would be great for business people, doctors, contractors, resturant owners, etc. But your avearage shmuck with a portable phone? --- anyway I remember CLEARLY walking into a bar I gues in 98' here in philly and I noiced people would put their cell phones ON THE BARTOP directly in front of them.....
hmmmmm... can we say CONSPICUOUS CONSUMPTION! Morans where showing off that they had a phone -- 'look at me im important' ....'look at me in BIG'.....'look at me I have CREDIT!' (<--<< lol) and last but not least 'now I can call the police if I feel I am in danger' -- the insecurity blanket effect of a cell phone. After a few years when EVERYBODY was approved for a phone (note in the EARLY days of cell phones only those with A1 credit could get one! hence the people showing them off at the bar -- but like I told you with credit cards, etc... credit is 'special' at first, but then everyone gets it... that's how the game works....) anyway - a few years after evrybody could get a phone and they werent 'special' people stopped POSING with them, they wouldnt pull them out and have LOUD conversations, saying look at me I have something you dont, I got it on credit.... they would be more tasteful.... christ people ALWAYS do this with their new credit 'thing' -- I remember people tossing credit cards around in the 80's as if it were a sack of diamonds... they would literally POSE with credit cards held high at a cash register or bar, or resturant - SERIOUSLY! Then came the "car key" posing - back in the 80's when you had to have credit to get a new car, people would carry their car keys indoors and jingle them around or set them on the bar top or show them off in a resturant... 'look at me I DRIVE! - you take the bus!'....... then the cell phone fiasco.... then the SUV masquerade, then the HOUSING masqurade! (in yuppie voice - which is basically an English accent) "LOOK AT ME WE'RE HOMEOWNERS!".....
In all cases it is simply a matter of insecure sheeple wanting to feel like they are NOT little bitch ass slaves - and every time they fail.
How many times a day to I see a woman who is ALONE walking down the street on her cell phone. NOT because the wants to talk to the person on the other end, but because she is too INSECURE to walk down the street alone and face the people she crosses. So her social skills and social growth - and potential, are forever stunted - and at the same time engages in a mindless fake conversation with somebody on the other end. All because humans are scared as pussy bitches.
Disgusting creatres --- THAT's what I see when I see a SUV or FORD-F850 driving GOOK tumbling down the road... literal wastes...
